Map Search is for using a map to find coastal access sites based on their geographic location. The map can be zoomed in and out and moved in all directions. First zoom the map to the Connecticut shore by using the Zoom In tool or selecting a town from the list of coastal towns. Then use the Site Info tool for more information about a particular site on the map. |

| 5 | Select a coastal access site on the map (see Figure 3.). Carefully position the mouse pointer over a site and press the mouse button to select the site. |

In Figure 4. above, Hammonasset Beach State Park is now selected. Notice the map symbol for this site changed from to , and the name of the site and the town in which it is located appear above the map. |
