Example map before using the map tool
Selected Coastal Access site Hammonasset Beach State Park is the selected coastal access site in the Figure above. Notice the map symbol for this site is a red square Selected Coastal Access site, and the name of the site and the town in which it is located appear above the map. Use the Site Info Site Info map tool to select another site on the map.
1Select the Site Info Site Info map tool with the mouse.
2Select a coastal access site on the map with the mouse. For example, select the site near Tuxis Island. The brown squares Coastal Access site on the map are coastal access sites.
Place tip of mouse pointer on site Next Selected site
Place tip of mouse pointer on site and press mouse button to select.

3Selected Coastal Access site East Wharf Beach is now the selected coastal access site. Notice the map symbol for this site changed from Coastal Access site to Selected Coastal Access site, and the name of the site and the town in which it is located appear above the map. Select the Describe Site tab for additional information about the site, or select Map Site tab to re-center the map on the site.
