View of the water at Jordan Mill Park, Waterford
Jordan Mill Park provides great wildlife observation and relaxation in the middle of a subdivision. There is a brown and white Long Island Sound public access sign on Great Neck Road pointing to Trumbull Lane. Once on Trumball Lane keep a keen eye out for another brown and white Long Island Sound public access sign posted on what at first glance looks like a private drive in-between #15 and #17 Trumbull Lane. Drive down this access road and you will find parking for 15 cars in a beautiful wooded area. There is a pavilion with picnic tables looking out onto a Jordan Mill Pond, next to a waterfall. On the opposite side there is a car-top boat launch (in addition to trails). To help you reach Jordan Mill Park, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign Long Island Sound Access sign.
