Walnut Beach is a great place to spend the day strolling along the edge of the Long Island Sound or fishing from the pier.  Visitors have a view of Charles Island from this site.  The site provides ample parking. Non-Residents visiting Walnut Beach must park in Lot #4 located in the rear of the main parking lot.

From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 35, which is School House Road exit. Turn left onto School House Road. Turn right onto Bridgeport Avenue. Turn left onto Meadows End Road. Stay straight to go onto Pumpkin Delight Road. Pumpkin Delight Road becomes Monroe Street. Turn left onto Viscount Drive. Entrance at end of road.
From the West: Take I-95 North to exit 34. Turn right off ramp onto Bridgeport Avenue/US 1 South and go 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Naugatuck Avenue. At the end, turn left on East Broadway and go to the end. The entrance is on the right.
