Gorham Island is located on the Saugatuck River right in downtown Westport.  Parking is available in the Parker Harding Plaza, take a stroll across the bridge to Gorham Island or just stroll along the Saugatuck River. To help you reach Gorham Island, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign Long Island Sound Access sign.

Westport, Connecticut
From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 18 to Sherwood Island State Park and continue 0.16 miles. Take the ramp to US-1/Westport and continue 0.09 miles. Take Sherwood Island Connector/Route 476 North and continue 0.98 miles. Turn left onto Post Road E/US-1 South and continue 1.39 miles. Turn right onto Main Street and continue 0.19 miles. Turn left onto Parker Harding Plz. and continue 0.04 miles.
From the West: Take I-95 North. Take the Route 136 exit 17 to Route 33/Westport/Saugatuck and continue 0.27 miles. Turn slight left onto Saugatuck Avenue/Route 136. Continue to follow Saugatuck Avenue and continue 0.41 miles. Saugatuck Avenue becomes Riverside Avenue/Route 33 and continue 1.21 miles. Turn right onto US-1/Post Road West and continue 0.13 miles. Turn left onto Parker Harding Plz. and continue 0.22 miles.
