Longshore Park and Country Club, Westport
Longshore Club Park is located at the mouth of the Saugatuck River. Fishing and limited car-top boating access allowed at marina as further described below. Day sailing and kayak rentals and instruction are available at the site's Long Shore Sailing School. Trails and walkways throughout the Park accommodate passive recreational opportunities such as bird watching. A pavilion provides shelter from the sun. Visitors can bring their own lunch and eat at the picnic area or use a seasonal on-site concession stand. A bathhouse with sanitary facilities are provided. A fee is charged to visit the beach at this Park. Car-top boat launching is allowed at the site for non- residents from October to April only. See the Town of Westport website.

From the East: Take I-95 South. Take exit 18 to Sherwood Island State Park and continue 0.16 miles. Take the ramp to US-1/Westport and continue 0.09 miles. Continue onto Sherwood Island Connector/Route 476 North for 0.19 miles. Turn left onto Greens Farms Road and continue 1.65 miles. Turn right onto Compo Road S/South Compo Road/Route 136. Continue to follow Compo Road South/Route 136. Entrance to the park is .5 mile on the right.
From the West: Take I-95 North. Take the Route 136 exit 17 to Route 33/Westport/Saugatuck and continue 0.27 miles. Turn slight left onto Saugatuck Avenue/Route 136. Continue to follow Route 136 for 0.37 miles. Turn right onto Bridge Street/Route 136 and continue 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Compo Road South/South Compo Road/Route 136. Entrance to the park is .5 mile on the right.

Parts of the site offering views of the water are wheelchair accessible. Some facilities/uses listed may not be fully accessible to the mobility-impaired.
