 View of the surrounding area of East Shore Park, New Haven | East Shore Park offers a harbor setting with something for everyone. The harbor setting is ideal for fishing. Walkways allow for strolling through the park itself. The paved asphalt walkways are primarily suited toward visual access of New Haven Harbor, as there is only one access point directly to the harbor. Bring binoculars and enjoy watching the birds and wildlife. The park has a playground for children, and it also has park benches. A seasonal food concession is available, in addition to a limited number of picnic tables. Sanitary facilities are available.

| From the East: Take I-95 South to Exit 51. At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight onto Route 1/North Frontage Road and proceed .7 miles. Continue straight at the intersection of Route 337/Townsend Avenue (by embarking upon Forbes Avenue) for .1 mile. Turn left onto Woodward Avenue and proceed .9 miles. The entrance to East Shore Park is located on the right. Or, continue an additional .3 miles, at which point there is the second entrance to the park. |
