View of the cliffs at East Rock Park, New Haven
East Rock Park with its shady, winding trails provide views of East Rock and access to the West River.  A winding road traversing the Park follows the path of the River.  The dense vegetative cover cools the air appreciably even on a blistery summer day.  Drive slowly if you must drive at all, keeping an eye out for pedestrians and cyclists using the road.
