 | West River Memorial Park |
West River Memorial Park, New Haven | | West River Memorial Park is a linear park (1.2 miles) that offers 200 acres of undeveloped park land, water and brackish marsh for nature-based outdoor recreation. The park connects to Edgewood Park and West Rock State Park to the north through a series of pedestrian easements. These three parks form a nearly continuous, largely undeveloped recreation facility with the West River at its heart. The car top boat launch at this site is located near the intersection of Marginal Drive and Orange Avenue (Route 1) on the West Haven side of the park. |
