Main Street Dock and Beach, Groton
Located at the end of Main Street on the Noank peninsula, this Town-owned site offers unobstructed views of the lower Mystic River and Masonís Island.  A small beach and dock area are provided (though overnight docking is not permitted).  Public parking is available, but limited.

 Directions
From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 89. Make a left onto Route 614/Mystic Street. Stay straight on Mystic Street (which becomes Allyn Street), and follow for 1.2 miles. At the intersection of U.S. Route 1/New London Road, proceed straight onto West Mystic Avenue. Continue on West Mystic Avenue for 0.4 miles. Upon intersecting with Route 215/Noank Road, turn right, and follow for 1.7 miles. Then turn left onto Mosher Street, proceed to end of street, and then turn right onto Ward Avenue. Follow Ward Avenue until it intersects with Main Street, at which point turn left. Follow Main Street to its end to locate site.

From the West: Take I-95 North to exit 88, and turn right onto Route 117/North Road. Continue on Route 117 until it intersects with U.S Route 1/Fort Hill Road, and turn left. Proceed on U.S. Route 1/ Fort Hill Road, and then turn right onto Route 215/Groton Long Point Road. Continue straight, and then turn left onto Brook Street. Follow Brook Street to its end, and then turn right onto Route 215/Elm Street. Proceed a short distance, and then turn left onto Mosher Street. Follow Mosher Street to its end, and then turn right onto Ward Avenue. Continue on Ward Avenue an extremely short distance until it intersects with Main Street, at which point turn left. Follow Main Street to its end to locate site.
