This scenic overlook is located on Military Highway south of the Nautilus Memorial entrance.  Overlooking Goss Cove, with unobstructed views of the Thames River and Mamacoke Cove, this parklet contains picnic areas, a scenic walkway and public parking.  Town-owned.

Groton, Connecticut
From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 86. Make a right onto Route 12/US-1, follow for 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Crystal Lake Road (Gate access required). Continue on Crystal Lake Road and Military Highway will be on your left. Take Military Highway across the bridge over Crystal Lake and Nautilus Parklet will be on your right.
From the West: Take I-95 North to exit 85, which is US-1 North to Thames Street/Downtown Groton. Take the ramp to Thames Street. Stay straight to go onto Bridge Street. Turn right onto Fairview Avenue. Turn slight left onto Military Highway 1.5 miles. Nautilus Parklet should be on your left.

Parts of the site offering views of the water are wheelchair accessible. Some facilities/uses listed may not be fully accessible to the mobility-impaired.
