Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center, Milford
|The Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center is a family-oriented environmental education facility. An observation platform from which visitors may view wildlife is located adjacent to the marsh. A boardwalk across a dune and another viewing platform on the beach offer visitors spectacular views of the Sound and the nearby intertidal flats. The observation platforms feature educational signs about Milford Point's varied habitats. Fee only to enter visitor center. General public welcome-fee to enter center, access to grounds free. To help you reach Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign .|

|From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 34. Turn right onto Rte. 1 south fir 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Naugatuck Avenue at the traffic light. Turn right onto Milford Point Road at the traffic light. At sharp bend in road turn/stay right to continue on Milford Point Road to end. Take drive on right at end of the road to reach the Center|
|From the West: Take I-95 North to exit 33, which is Ferry Boulevard. Continue onto Rte. 1 north across the Housatonic River into Milford. Turn right onto Naugatuck Avenue at the light. Turn right onto Milford Point Road at the light. At sharp bend in road turn/stay right to continue on Milford Point Road to end. Take drive on right at end of the road to reach the Center|
