Cini Memorial Park Fishing Pier
Cini Memorial Park Fishing Pier
The creative re-use of this area under the Niantic River bridge as a small waterfront park offers views of the Niantic River with interpretive signs describing the Niantic River's shellfishery, past and present. Watch charter fishing boats depart from the park, but be careful not to enter the channel under the bridge where swift currents can be extremely dangerous. This site provides access to the Niantic River Boardwalk's eastern terminus and a fishing pier. To help you reach Cini Memorial Park, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign Long Island Sound Access sign.
