 | Hole-in-the-Wall Beach |
Hole-in-the-Wall Beach, East Lyme | Stroll this small crescent beach and the adjacent McCook Park trails and Niantic Bay Boardwalk. Then take a dip in the shallow waters off this beach, one that is perfect for youngsters still learning to swim. You must obtain a parking pass at the Parks and Recreation offices (Tel. 860-739-5828) located at the Library and Community Center building on Society Road (Monday-Friday) to access the parking lot for the Park. On weekends, passes may be purchased at "Tumbleweeds" at 325 Main Street, located near Main Street's intersection with Baptist Lane. This site provides access to the western terminus of the Niantic Bay Boardwalk. Car-top boat access is allowed strictly to the left (east side) of the jetty.
