Bring a lunch and arrive early to picnic under the old copper beech tree atop a bluff overlooking Long Island Sound. Obtain a parking pass at the Parks and Recreation offices (tel. 860-739-5828) located at the Library and Community Center building on Society Road (Monday-Friday) to access the parking lot for the Park or buy a pass at the support building at the entrance to nearby Hole-in-the-Wall Beach at Baptist Lane, off Niantic's Main Street (Route 156).
