 | Jordan Cove Water Access |
Jordan Cove Water Access, Waterford | Jordan Cove Water Access is a small barrier beach site. It is accessed through a densely developed neighborhood with little on-street parking. Visitors should respect the neighborhood by parking off-street within the site's fenced parking area. Visitors should avoid trampling the dune grass as they enter the site, and they should also beware of debris on the beach and dune areas. Visitors crossing the breach to the adjacent island must be aware that a rising tide may strand them on the island (thus, it is best not to cross the breach). Boaters need to be especially careful when navigating the waters off this site, as abandoned pilings create EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS boating conditions. To help you reach Jordan Cove Water Access, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign .
