See and read about the restoration of Bentley Creek Marsh and the wildlife inhabiting this urban salt marsh as well as the history of the redevelopment of the Pfizer site. The site contains the only remaining tidal wetland on the Thames River in New London. On-site interpretive signs provide an inspiring story of the site's transformation from degraded industrial site to a thriving tidal marsh. The site is split into two distinct paths -- one on the north side of the facility, and the other on the south side of the complex. Please refrain from taking photographs, as security personnel at the Pfizer Global Development Facility may become alarmed and question one's motives.
To help you reach Pfizer Global Development Facility, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign Long Island Sound Access sign.
