Walkway at Housatonic River Water Access at Great River Golf, Milford
Housatonic River Water Access at Great River Golf provides a pleasant one-quarter mile walkway along 3 holes of golf course on a shaded woodchip path leads to a wooden boardwalk at the River's edge.  A separate footpath runs several hundred feet to the south along the river.

From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 38 to Route 15/Merritt and West Cross Pkwys. Take Milford Pkwy. Continue onto Route 15 N/Wilbur Cross Pkwy. Take the Wheelers Farms Road, which is exit 55A. Turn left onto Wheelers Farms Road. Turn left onto Herbert Street then about a mile to a fork take left branch onto Coram Lane. About two hundred yards ahead will be Augusta Drive. Take a left onto Augusta Drive. Turn left onto Centennial Drive at the end of Augusta Drive. Just as Centennial Drive makes a sharp turn to the left. Turn right onto the river access stone driveway located between a black fence on the right and a white fence on the left.
