Baldwin Bridge Scenic Overlook, Old Lyme
Great overlook of lower Connecticut River with interpretive signage.  There is a short trail out to the old Baldwin Bridge abutment.  The trail begins across the street from the commuter parking lot.  Parking is available in the commuter lot on Route 156.  This site is easily accessed off I-95. To help you reach Baldwin Bridge Scenic Overlook, some routes leading to this site are posted with the brown and white Long Island Sound Access sign Long Island Sound Access sign.

 Directions
From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 70. At the end of the exit, proceed straight for .7 miles. Turn left onto Route 156 and then (almost immediately) turn left into the commuter parking lot (at the first light after gaining entry onto Route 156). Visitors can park in this lot when visiting Baldwin Bridge Scenic Overlook. Please cross at the cross walk.
