Mianus River Fishway, Greenwich
This site offers views of the Mianus River Dam and one of the most active diadromous fishways in Connecticut. The public can enjoy views of the river from benches in a small garden marked with the public access sign. The fishway access walk is open to the public throughout the spring migration (late March to June) and by appointment throughout the remainder of the year for educational purposes.

From I-95 S take exit 5 to Route 1 (East Putnam Ave). Cross Mianus River bridge and make first right onto River Road Ext. and then another quick right into Green Adult Daycare.

From I-95 N take exit 4 Indian Field Rd. Take a left onto Indian Field Rd and ravel for approximately .2 miles, then take a right onto East Putnum Ave/Rt-1. Travel on East Putnum Rd for approximtely .9 miles, then take a left onto River Rd Ext. Greenwich Adult Daycare Center is on your right after a short distance.
