Mill Pond is a municipally owned park in Westport, Connecticut.  Parking and car top boat launch access is available to non-residents October through April while Town residents may launch year round  by permit only.  Permits issued only to residents of Westport.  See the Town of Westport website <a href='http://www.westportct.gov/agencies/parksandrecreation/'>Town of Westport</a> for more details on this site.  Non-residents may launch year-round at the nearby <a href=site.asp?siteid=561>Saugatuck River State Boat Launch</a> . The general public may park at metered parking spots (1 hour parking) on Hillspoint Road to access the site when on-site parking is restricted to residents only. Tide gates on Mill Pond do not provide boating access to Long Island Sound.

 Directions
From the East: Take I-95 South. Take exit 18 to Sherwood Island State Park and continue 0.16 miles. Take the ramp to US-1/Westport and continue 0.09 miles. Take Sherwood Island Connector/Route 476 North and continue 0.19 miles. Turn left onto Greens Farms Road and continue 0.84 miles. Turn left onto Hills Point Road and continue 0.65 miles. Site is on left just before Old Mill Road. Non-residents must park on Hills Point Road May-September.
