The Hammocks residential subdivision provides a public access walkway along a newly constructed residential development  providing visual access to the Hammock River, tidal marshes, and outer Clinton Harbor. Parking area for public access path is on Beach Park Road opposite Holland Road.

From the East: Take I-95 South to Exit 64. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Route 145/Horse Hill Road and proceed .1 mile. Next, turn right onto Route 145/Old Clinton Road, and continue 1.7 miles. At the Route 1/East Main Street intersection, turn left, proceed .1 mile, and then bear right onto Beach Park Road. Continue .4 miles, and the entrance will be located on the right immediately past the entrance/roadway to the subdivision.

From the West: Take I-95 North to Exit 63. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left, and then immediately turn right onto Route 81/High Street, and proceed .6 miles. Next, turn left onto Route 1/East Main Street and continue 1 mile. Bear right onto Beach Park Road, and follow .4 miles. The entrance will be located on the right immediately past the entrance/roadway to the subdivision.
