Red Wing Park, Clinton
Crushed mussel shell paths lead to the pond at two locations for visual access and passive recreational activities such as observing birds and other wildlife. The site is comprised of a wooded area with trails overlooking a pond believed to be tidally influenced and is near the Hammonasset River (and may be a tributary of the Hammonasset). Visitor hours are from sunrise until sunset.

From the East: I-95 South to Exit 63. At the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Route 81/Killingworth Turnpike and proceed .1 mile. Turn right onto North High Street and proceed .5 miles. Then turn right onto Nod Road and continue .3 miles. Red Wing Park will be on the left (and includes a small parking lot).
