Capitalization is irrelevant. For example, USGS is equivalent to usgs.
Authors names should be search for by last name, first name. For example, Smith, John instead of John Smith.
Taxonomic searching is by species. For example, americanus rather than Homarus americanus.
Phrase searching, enclosing the words within double quotes is not supported.
The use of wildcards like * to increase the scope of a search is not supported.
