Map Tools
Zoom inZoom inZoom in to a specific location on the map. Select this tool with the mouse. Either select on the map where to zoom in or drag a rectangle around the area to zoom in.
Zoom outZoom outZoom out from a specific location on the map. Select this tool with the mouse. Either select on the map where to zoom out from or drag a rectangle around the area to zoom out from.
Center Zoom inCenter Zoom inZoom in to the center of the current map. Select this tool with the mouse and the map will automatically zoom in. Repeatedly select this tool to continue zooming in.
Center Zoom outCenter Zoom outZoom out from the center of the current map. Select this tool with the mouse and the map will automatically zoom out. Repeatedly select this tool to continue zooming out.
PanPanMove (re-center) the map. Select this tool with the mouse. Either select on the map and the map will center on that point or select on the map and drag it to reposition the map center.
Full ViewFull ViewZooms out to the full viewing area.
Feature LinkFeature LinkUsed to select features on the map for which data is available and displays links to view or download the data. The selected features are highlighted in color on the map. Select this tool with the mouse, then select features on the map for which information is desired. This tool is available for specific index maps. When using this tool, a feature may be selected by clicking on it or dragging a rectangle around the area to select multiple features.
Map Panning
Pan NorthPan NorthSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map north.
Pan SouthPan SouthSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map south.
Pan EastPan EastSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map east.
Pan WestPan WestSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map west.
Options
LegendLegendDisplays a map legend (map key) for the current map.
Map Scale
Scale 1:24,000Select map scale from list and map will redraw at the choosen scale.
